| PDP Mega Rally In Dutse, Jigawa State In Picture |
The People Democratic Party (PDP) stormed Jigawa State on Monday, March 12, 2018, with a mega rally signaling the takeoff of the opposition party’s campaign across the country. PDP’s mega campaign train is taking off from the North West, where the party has about three presidential aspirants and could have more from the zone when others formally make their declaration for the 2019 presidential race.
Kola Ologbondiyan, PDP National Publicity Secretary, had in a statement indicated that PDP National Chairman, Uche Secondus, had invited all members of the National Executive Committee (NEC), Board of Trustees (BoT), all leaders and members of the PDP in the National Assembly, all PDP past and present state governors, party leaders nationwide, all stakeholders and teeming supporters of the party in Jigawa State, the North West Zone to the mega rally which holds at its State Secretariat, Dutse, Jigawa State by 11.00am.
The rally holding this Monday witnessed sea of people trooping out of the state to identify with their party leaders and show solidarity to the national party.
Former Governor Sule Lamido, one of the presidential aspirants in PDP led the squad in mobilizing the mammoth crowd that attended the rally.
